![]() So, we wouldn't lose our Tenno powers, but we would lose our dramatically more effective Warframe powers. In short - the Warframes don't directly derive energy from the Tenno. Umbra, as well, can use his powers without a Tenno. Since we see waaay back in the Rhino Prime codex (which seems to depict this event), these Proto-Warframes still had the existing powers, which presumably still came from the void. If I had to guess, since Tenno weren't there at the inception of Warframes - Ballas makes it clear that they were developed before they realised transference could control them, and Tenno can do that safely and freely. We could most likely lose all our warframe powers if the heart of deimos dies, whatever form the "heart" takesĮDIT: Due to some of the replies, the question is rhetorical. Then where does it come from, if not from the tenno? Warframes are stronger than operators, but operators only just control them, not necessarily the source of the power itself. ![]() Why does abilities change, when our operators themselves does not? You play as Excalibur and suddenly you can no longer whisk enemies into the air. Our operators have void powers, but why in the name of RNG does going in an orokin infested piece of armor suddenly changes our power, that too in such a modular nature? So lore wise if the heart of Deimos dies do we lose our Tenno powers? Or did they mean that our Tenno powers came from all the hard work this family of scientists did with the void? So they had an understanding if the ship with all the Tennos went into the void that we would be imbued with powers?
